Southern League Player of the Week

In their week 2 matchup the Vancouver Yankees were able to sweep the Portland Royals in a two game series. Josh Burckhardt was an integral part of their wins and earns Player of the Week honors because of it. In game one he took the mound and went 7 innings giving up 3 hits, 1 run and 2 walks while striking out ten. In game two Burck did all the damage from the plate. He was 5 for 8 with two bombs, five rbi's and four runs scored. He led the Yankees to a 9-0 victory to close the series.
Congrats Josh.
